Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a critical component of mining operations, particularly in developing economies, where the sector has a profound impact on local communities, economies, and the environment. This study aims to evaluate the CSR and stakeholder management practices in the mining industry of developing countries. By comparing different approaches across regions, this research examines how mining companies engage with their stakeholders, including local communities, governments, and non-governmental organizations, to address environmental, social, and economic challenges. The study highlights the varying levels of success in stakeholder management, the role of regulatory frameworks, and the impact of CSR initiatives on sustainable development. Key findings suggest that while some mining companies have implemented effective CSR strategies, challenges such as insufficient community involvement, lack of transparency, and poor environmental management still persist. This research contributes to a better understanding of how CSR can be effectively utilized to improve stakeholder relations and promote sustainable mining practices in developing economies.
