Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increased interest in traditional medicine and natural remedies for boosting immunity. In India, a wide range of herbs have been traditionally used for this purpose, but their efficacy in the context of COVID-19 is not well understood. This article aims to provide an overview of the use of Indian herbs as immunity boosters during and post COVID-19 in an Indian perspective. A comprehensive review of relevant literature was conducted, and key concepts and theories related to the use of traditional medicine in boosting immunity were identified. The findings suggest that several Indian herbs, including tulsi, ginger, ashwagandha, and turmeric, have potential benefits in boosting immunity and managing COVID-19 symptoms. However, further research is needed to confirm their efficacy and safety in the context of COVID-19. The article concludes with recommendations for future research and practice in the field of traditional medicine.
